Day #62 Fiesta!

Gordy and I could have used this fire Monday morning after getting up at 3:30 a.m. and on the Fiesta grounds by 4:45 a.m. Frost was on the ground and we were not dressed warm enough! The Balloon Meister announced that the wind speed was too high, so they would wait for the sun to rise and, hopefully, warm the air and calm the winds enough for lift off.






A very emotional moment as the lead balloon rises with the national anthem. The pilots got a "GO" by 8 a.m.
