Day #56 Last Day in Tomball - Laundry and Hanging Out plus CONTEST CLUE #6

Karen's smile is a favorite!

The time in Tomball, TX has flown by! Karen took the week off from work and we have enjoyed every day together. The reminiscing never stopped, nor did the making of new memories and sharing parts of our lives that we have missed experiencing together. No surprises here: WE LIKE EACH OTHER - LOTS!

Cory properly installed a screen protector that was blocking a sensor on my Android and making impossible for me to ever see the screen when in phone mode. All better now.







Next, the search for the new Barbra Streisand CD, Release Me, only  to find that it is not due out for another week. It is full of songs recorded but never released as they were not perfection in her ears. What I wouldn't do to see her in while she is on tour. The closest is Toronto ~ now that's a possibility from WNY!

Followed by a stop at Molly's for a beverage or two.

And on to Locatellis for dinner where the beer is free on Mondays. (Except they are closed on Mondays!)

And one last night of Texas Karaoke at RPMs. I sang at least once in every venue. Better than some, no so much others. Karen has good friends. They forgave my yankee status when they determined I wasn't uppity like those New York City people!

CONTEST UPDATE, New Opportunity to Receive a Clue

In the Day#14 post, dated 8/23/12, I announced the contest and the complete details required for submission. The short version is: Guess how many views this blog will have by the end of my journey, October 11. Prize to winner: dinner for two at a restaurant within 100 miles of your home, redeemable not later than October 2014. Guess the total number of blog views without going over. The closest one wins. Guess exactly and theatre tickets will be added. There were 800 views as of 8/23.

Realizing it will be in the entrants best interest to WAIT until closer to the end of my voyage to submit their one and only guess, I will be adding opportunities for people to earn clues to assist them with estimating their final guess. 

Clues #1 and #3 have been claimed. Clues #2, #4 and #4 have unclaimed opportunities. Details for the new Clue #6 are below.
