Day #39 Mel's Workplace and Santa Barbara

After breakfast and a load of laundry Mel and I headed out to see her place of work.

As executive secretary of the Thousand Oaks Civic Center, Melodie has her own wall of fame. Of course, we all know it is the office staff that really keep any organization going. She is respected from the top and bottom of the Center. (Kudos going out to the clerical staff I depended on over the years.... Nynette, Bev, Carol, Carol, Flo, Denise, Karen. These names are from three different school districts and the last three I worked in as I made the change from teacher to principal to Superintendent.)

1,800 seats

I tested the acoustics from the stage singing the first verse of Amazing Grace.
